At the intersection of arts and culture, community development and education, Art Share Los Angeles, Inc. is a community based incubator for local emerging and established artists whose mission is providing both safe shelter and workplace to exhibit and perform. On the lower floor is a working visual and ceramic arts studio with kiln; art exhibition gallery; and performance/dance/theatre space; all of which accommodate (450) persons at any one time. Located in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, Art Share programs are conducted from a renovated 2-story 30,000 square foot facility.

Art Share LA is pleased to announce its second show of 2012 - “Large” curated by long-time Arts District painter, designer and resident, Ted Meyer. Ted brought the idea of showing large-scale work to gallery director Rick Robinson just a few short weeks ago. “The opportunity to exploit the 18’ gallery ceilings was fresh and new for us” says Robinson. “And the choice of painters sets a terrific standard for our space”.
Established in 1997 Art Share LA is a 501C3 operating as a community art incubator within the Downtown LA Arts District. Art Share LA provides affordable artists housing, art programming, a gallery space, performing arts theatre and event space. The mission is to keep Art in The Arts District.
